Each year, 1-2 positions for two-year Postdoc Fellowships are available specifically concern the first- and second-principles modelling for functional materials. Starting from the conventional DFT investigations, the program is not very restricted but can have more broad view for finite temperatures properties. Candidates are required to have related background while the skill of coding is highly recommended. 

The salary of Postdoc Fellow in SCNU is highly competitive. The gross payment is 220,000 ~250,000 CNYs per year with additional 3,000 CNY monthly support for accommodation, or offering Postdoc apartment instead. Basic social security is offered as well. The contracts are for 3-6 years, include full benefits and coverage. The salary with basic social security for Research Fellow position is highly competitive. The gross payment is 250,000 ~300,000 CNYs per year with additional 3,000 CNYs monthly support for accommodation. A amount of Startup Funding (200,000 CNYs for the maximum) will be offered.
